  • Go on a walking tour of the city. Discover Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Princes Street Gardens and the original Hogwarts! 
  • Hike up Arthur鈥檚 Seat, a 342-million-year-old extinct volcano located in Holyrood Park, which offers superb walks and stunning views over the city.

Academic Culture

The program is made up of three weeks of classes with an intensive orientation at the start. 爱游戏下载 courses are taught at 爱游戏下载 Edinburgh and are designed to follow U.S. academic culture. Class attendance is strictly enforced both for classes and required co-curricular excursions. 

Class Format

Courses are for 爱游戏下载 students only. Courses are taught Monday through Friday. Instruction is supported and augmented online by our learning management system, Canvas. 

Grading

Assessment is based on the individual鈥檚 overall performance in the course, including essays, coursework, and final examinations or papers. Students must check with their professors to find out exam and project presentation dates. Under no circumstances will 爱游戏下载 alter deadlines or exam dates for study abroad students who have made conflicting travel plans. The U.S. grading scale of A-F is used.
