Standard Housing: Includes a single room in a homestay or a twin room at a shared apartment/residence hall/hotel/aparthotel all located under 50 minutes from 爱游戏下载 Paris by public transport. Homestays feature a kitchen, living room, and bathroom shared with a host family. Shared apartments boast a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Shared apartments with twin rooms also boast a living room. If you stay in a residence hall/hotel/studio in an aparthotel, you will be housed in twin rooms, which feature a bathroom, a kitchenette, and weekly cleaning. Laundry facilities are available at cost in the facility.
- Homestays: Homestays feature a kitchen, living room, and bathroom shared with a host family. Please note: It is helpful, but not required, to have a basic knowledge of French for living with a homestay. French hosts are not required to be fluent in English.

Academics
Students enroll in one, two, or three six-week blocks, taking two courses during each block. This program gives students the flexibility to stay in Paris the entire time or spend other blocks at our Open Campus Block locations in Amsterdam, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dublin, Kyoto, London, Madrid, Milan, Monteverde, Prague, Rome, Santiago, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, and Yucat谩n.
Students choose from a variety of disciplines within seven different tracks: Art and Architecture; Business; Communications, Journalism, and New Media; Global and Community Health; International Relations and Political Science; Language, Literature, and Culture; or STEM and Society.

Courses at a variety of proficiency levels are available, and more advanced French speakers can take advantage of French-taught courses in Art History or Francophone Literatures, Philosophy, or Architecture.
Faculty from local institutions and 爱游戏下载 faculty teach 爱游戏下载 courses. Eligible students studying in Paris for three blocks may be able to enroll at Universit茅 Sorbonne Nouvelle (University of Paris 3).

- Use the Course Comparison Tools to compare classes offered across all Open Campus Block programs for each block:
- Students studying for three blocks who wish to complete a lab course will be required to opt out of one course to remain within the program credit range.
- Most courses are taught face-to-face and offered only for students at one location. 爱游戏下载 offers some courses in a hybrid format, available to multiple program locations to increase course choices. A hybrid class is taught synchronously in a classroom in one location, and students in the program at other 爱游戏下载 locations join live online. Hybrid courses can be identified in the course list as those whose course codes end in 鈥湴蜗废略剽, and the title will include the location of instruction. Regardless of your location, you will apply what you learn from the instructor and course materials in your location. Co-curricular activities are tailored to each student鈥檚 location to promote local, experiential and intercultural learning for all.
Academic Projects
- Academic Projects will be offered onsite (either in-person or remotely) or remotely at another Open Campus location, dependent on availability and in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Academic Project placement will be designed based on the student鈥檚 project learning goals, qualifications, resume, and availability of placements in location or within the Open Campus Block network either in-person or remotely. The process is highly individualized and goal-oriented. Students enrolled in an Academic Project will receive additional academic support that informs and enhances the placement experience.鈥
- Students applying for an Academic Project must submit additional materials during the course selection process.鈥
Language Classes
- During course selection, students interested in a non-introductory French language course will be instructed to take an online French language assessment to determine their proficiency level. Enrollment will be finalized on-site and is based on assessment outcomes.

In blocks I and II, courses and formal activities end on the last Thursday of the block, and in block III, on the last Friday. Students are free to use the time between blocks as they choose, either remaining in their location or using the time for their own travel pursuits. Students changing locations must check into their new Open Campus Block Network center by the first Monday of the block for local orientation, with classes starting on the first Wednesday of each block.
