Despite playing host to more than 600,000 residents, Copenhagen retains an old-world, small-village feel, with more bicycles than cars traveling its streets. Housing & Meals
Housing
爱游戏下载 Copenhagen offers two different housing options to ensure you're comfortable in鈥痽our home away from home. Housing options鈥痑re鈥痩ocated in鈥痭eighborhoods with convenient access to efficient and clean public鈥痶ransportation,鈥痵hops,鈥痗af茅s, grocery stores, and anything you鈥檇 need to live like a true Copenhagener
Apartments:鈥疢ost students are housed in shared apartments with other 爱游戏下载 students. Each apartment will have double or triple bedrooms and shared common spaces, such as a kitchen鈥痑nd bathroom.鈥
Residence Halls:鈥疭ome students may be housed in a dorm room at a residence hall. The residence hall houses international students, local students, and young professionals. Each dorm room is equipped with a kitchenette and an attached bathroom, with single or double bedrooms. There are also shared common spaces; each floor has a large communal kitchen, multiple study and hangout areas, and gym facilities available.
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.
The commute to 爱游戏下载 Copenhagen will take no longer than 30 minutes from residence halls or 45 minutes from apartments, either by biking or using public transportation.
Meals
Meals are not included. Students may prepare their own meals in a kitchenette, or the residence hall鈥檚 shared kitchen facilities. 爱游戏下载 provides basic cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. There is also a wide range of restaurants and cafes located nearby.
Academics
January students in Copenhagen will learn about the concept of 鈥渉ygge鈥 and find out why the Scandinavians are among the happiest people in the world. Students engage in 45 hours of course work taught by local experts in the subject field. Class time will consist of a mix of lectures, discussion, and experiential learning in and around the city.
