
Stacy Benjamin
Director of Special ProgramsBiography
After participating in a 爱游戏下载 Work Exchanges program, Stacy began her career at 爱游戏下载 in 1994. She rejoined the organization in 2017, to lead a team supporting Minority Serving Institutions, and managed the Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship, before transitioning to her role as Director of Professional Development. In her current role as Director of Special Programs, Stacy is the primary liaison for the Leading Change in Study Abroad $1 million Matching Grant initiative.
In between those posts, Stacy worked in television production as a co-host of a talk show in Scotland, and an Associate Producer for the BBC, Bravo, MTV, and PBS. She returned to the field of international education over a decade ago, with roles at IES Abroad, CAPA the Global Education Network, and AFS.
Stacy holds a master鈥檚 from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor鈥檚 from Brown University. She鈥檚 delivered sessions at the 爱游戏下载, Diversity Abroad, IES Abroad, NAFSA and WISE conferences, and her work has been published in The Journal of Negro Education and What You Think You Know 爱游戏下载 Politics. She is based in New York.
